Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I fully believe children are a lot like sponges, and that they absorb every piece of information around them. And so, I think it is essential for children to learn through play especially. Other activities I love to do with children are reading, crafting, and cooking (safely!) together.

Making sure the children you care for, are being cared for. That the children feel safe, comfortable, and are safe. When being a nanny, the children you are looking after come first no matter what.
My experience with special needs children...
In my youth, I was often times surrounded with special needs children. Because I, myself, have a disability called discalcula. Which is similar to dyslexia. And so while I was spending time with special needs children, I found myself gaining experience on how to navigate challenges that may arise among other things. I am able to de-escalate situations, accommodate the way each child learns, and accommodate the way each child plays.
The most important part about being a nanny...
A very special moment in, I'm sure most Nannie's careers, is when you bond and form a trust with a child. When a child feels comfortable and safe with you, it feels accomplishing and special. And, it really makes those moments that can be hard, worth it.
