I volunteered at the children's hospital in Panama and did Community service at school with children of all kinds, including those with special needs, and I’ve also babysat for family and friends. I always connect easily with kids, and everyone in my family loves it when I take care of them. They know I’m patient, caring, and caring.

I love spending time with kids both indoors and outdoors. I enjoy doing things like going for walks, playing outside, doing crafts, reading books, and playing educational games. I also love helping them learn, especially teaching them a few Spanish words if their parents are interested. I try to make every activity fun, safe, and a chance for them to grow.

The most important part about being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with both the children and their parents. I believe parents want to feel confident that their children are safe, cared for, and happy. That’s why I always communicate openly and honestly, listen carefully to parents’ needs and routines, and make sure to provide a warm, nurturing environment for the kids.

My experience with special needs children...

During my volunteer work, I had the privilege of supporting children with a variety of neurodevelopmental, learning, communication, and cognitive differences. Each child had unique needs and ways of connecting with the world, which taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and adaptability.

The first time I babysat a child was very special. The girl was shy and didn’t talk much, but I stayed patient and gentle. Soon, she opened up, and we had a lot of fun playing together. The parents were surprised and happy because their child rarely did that. It was a rewarding experience that showed me the power of patience and kindness.
