Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteered with children online during quarantine. I taught History, Reading, Writing, and Science. During this time I enjoyed watching the children learn and grow. Since this was a difficult time for most online learners, I feel grateful to have this experience working with children in this capacity.
My mother is also a clinical psychologist. She specializes in children on the autism spectrum. I have had a lot of experience working with children on the spectrum. I used to go to work with my mom, and I would work and play with the children at the clinic.
During high school, I also volunteered at the North County Immigration Center in San Diego. I worked with many children that were brought into the center. I spoke Spanish with the children and taught them English with games and worksheets.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy reading, writing, and teaching children. I also love to go on walks and explore nature. I love to spend time outside in any capacity, as long as the child wants to go outside I am always ready to go! I also like to color and play all types of games. If there are multiple children I enjoy group activities and games as well. I like to keep the children fully engaged, and not glued to the television or electronics. I also love to bond with children while eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with children on the autism spectrum. My mother is a clinical psychologist and she specializes in autism. Ever since I was ten years old, my mom would bring me into the clinic in order to work with children on the autism spectrum. I also have experience working with children with ADD, ADHD, Depression, and Anxiety.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have had so many amazing nanny moments, it is hard for me to decide! All of the children I have worked with have a special place in my heart, and I simply can not decide a favorite. I enjoy just hanging out with the children, but my favorite part of being a nanny is watching children learn and grow in front of my eyes.
