Hello, my name is Sophia and I have experience working with children from all different settings. I work a summer job as a camp counselor and during the school year I sub for students with special needs and go into a school setting for my clinical experience. This spring I am in a 3rd grade classroom. I have also had multiple baby sitting jobs in the past. I am going to graduate and become an elementary school teacher because I want to make a difference in a student’s life that lets them have a good start to their futures.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have done many volunteer opportunities with student in schools, as well as worked in school as a para building sub. I am currently working at a day care with school age children and pre-schoolers. I am doing my clinical right now in a pre-school classroom and previously did one in a 3rd grade classroom. I also work at a summer camp with kindergarten and 1st graders over the summer.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to hang outside with kids, as well as play games with them in and outside. I enjoy doing whatever the kids might want to do, while also being safe and making sure everyone is happy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is making sure that the child is safe and happy and enjoys when me or another nanny is there to take care of them.

I have worked as para substitute with middle and elementary schoolers.

The most important part about being a nanny...

was when I was watching two children and we ent on a costume walk in the middle of Summer. The children dressed in their Halloween Costumes, and I took them on a walk down their cul de sac.
