Hi! My name is Sophie. After 9 years in the classroom, working with children ages 6 weeks through 9 years, I would love to make the shift to work with a family on a more personal level. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education and a Masters Degree in Learning Sciences and Human Development. I have a passion for the Reggio Emilia philosophy of education and am a fervent advocate for children’s rights. I have had experience nannying as well as in the classroom and am looking forward to my extensive knowledge on child development and experience supporting children of a variety of ages, abilities, and temperaments to help and benefit your family.
When I’m not working with children, I’m reading, doing puzzles, or going on adventures with my husband and our 3 dogs.
