Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked for The city of Rockville summer camps as an activity leader. I plan a few activities daily for the children to keep them engaged. I also am one of the leaders of my church’s children’s ministry. I make videos every other week teaching our children about God and doing activities with them as well! Since I was 14 I’ve been babysitting just about all my cousins and many children from my church. I also took a child development class for 3 years while in high school and had an internship at an elementary school. Right now I am receiving my certificate in early childhood education at Montgomery College while working for an after school program in Rockville. I also work in a preschool where I teach kids the basic fundamentals before they go to kindergarten.

I love to go to the park, create different crafts, and do whatever children may find interest in to help them explore and experience more.

Being patient with children, they’ll have their good days but will surely have some bad days as well. We’re all human and have our moments. Also be willing to step out your comfort zone, kids are into so many different things that we may not be interested in but we have to let them explore those interest in order to grow.
