I have been working in Special Education since 2021. I was a paraeducator for 14 years and have been teaching since 2021, so I have a lot of experience working with children from preschool/TK through 5th grade. I have experience caring for and supporting children with a variety of needs, creating a safe, nurturing environment, and working closely with families. My teaching experience has given me strong childcare, communication, and problem solving skills that are well suited for a nanny role.

I enjoy keeping children active and engaged through games and play. Some of my favorite activities include playing catch, kicking or throwing a ball, board games, Jenga, Connect Four, arts and crafts, reading, and other age appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and fun.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is providing a safe, caring, and supportive environment where children feel loved, respected, and encouraged to learn and grow. Building trust with both the children and their family is also essential.

I have worked with children with special needs since 2007 as a Special Education Teacher. My experience includes supporting children with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, speech and language delays, developmental delays, and a variety of behavioral and emotional needs. I provide patient, individualized support while creating a safe, structured, and positive environment where each child can thrive.

While I haven't worked as a nanny, I have babysitting experience and many rewarding moments as a Special Education Teacher. My favorite is seeing children reach their goals, build confidence, and celebrate their accomplishments.
