I am a single mom.I have 2 grown children of my own so I have lots of experience.,lol! I love kids of all ages. I have been a bus driver for over 15 years. I am very trustworthy & have experience doing children’s church, camps , mission trips working with all ages. I have somewhat of a flexible schedule currently working as a sub driver, a couple hours in the afternoons.So morning hours work bestright now.I have animals ,2dogs, so I don’t mind pets being in the home.I can also do some light housekeeping as well. I am very energetic and active and love getting kids outdoors taking them to parks, zoos ,activities, trying to keep them off the TV and iPads, lol. During summer months, would love to do water parks, pools anything to keep them engaged. I will definitely become good friends with your kids, but understand that whatever rules you have for your family household will be implied as well and followed through. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a nanny for several families part-time in the last 5 years. I have done children’s church, children and youth camp ministries, and mission trips with our church, I have watched lots of my friends children, as well as my own families children of all ages. I have been a bus driver for over 15 years for the public schools.I have volunteered at horse therapy Riding Center, as well as other volunteer opportunities working with lots of children over the years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Going to parks,zoo, museums ,nature trails, taking them to get ice cream, going on car ride adventures, playing games inside and outside and being there for all they need.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure they are safe and feel comfortable wherever they are. Also that they can trust me and come to me and talk to me about whatever as well as know that I will do my best to give them my time and patience and understanding. I will also not hesitate to set boundaries and rules depending on what the parents have established already and follow through as much as possible but want to see them thrive in their environment..

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked at the public schools and worked with children with special needs off & on over the years. I also volunteered at our therapeutic riding center in our town for over eight years with special needs children of all ages.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When the kids laugh and I can see that they’re enjoying themselves, especially if they have siblings or friends over. Watching them Interact is always fun. I love seeing how creative they can be and love to engage in that with them. I love when they’re outside and just want to explore the world around them.
