A favorite memory while nannying was teaching a four year old to swim. It was my first summer working for the family and we spent most of our days at the the pool. The youngest girl was never very fond of her puddle jumper, so I knew we’d have to get her swimming on her own. After two weeks, she had it down! I remember her mother’s excitement when she saw the child jumped in and swam around the pool unassisted. That was a great day!
