I have three years of experience as a activity leader and daycare worker, creating my own lesson plans, classroom management, and activities for children.. My role involved ensuring the safety and well-being of children, helping them with basic hygiene, organizing classroom tasks, and supporting positive interactions. Additionally, I volunteered in high school, working directly with special needs children, helping them engage in activities, and ensuring they had a supportive, enriching environment. These experiences have strengthened my passion for working with children and my ability to provide individualized care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I helped a child I cared for overcome a fear of reading out loud. We spent time each day reading together, and I encouraged them with positive reinforcement and fun activities that made reading exciting. The moment they confidently read an entire storybook on their own, with a huge smile on their face, was incredibly rewarding. It was amazing to witness their growth and the boost in their confidence, knowing I played a part in that development.
