I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. When I was 16 I began working at a daycare. In my first year at the daycare I worked with all ages from 0-6 years old. In my second year, I worked exclusively with infants. Therefore, I am very experienced with multitasking and staying on track with feeding, sleeping, and changing schedules. I am also very familiar with early childhood developmental milestones, so I will be sure to be very interactive and engaging with your child to ensure I best support their growth. Aside from the child's health and safety, which is of course of top priority, I believe the next most important thing is creating a bond and forming a positive relationship with not only the children, but also the families. It is also very important that the child also feels this bond. They need to feel cared about and understood by the person taking care of them. This takes a lot of patience, and ultimately comes from truly loving the work you do and having endless compassion and understanding for the children.
