I’ve babysat many times for family members and also family friends but at no cost lol which was no problem. At my old church, I was in charge of children ministry. It wasn’t until high school that I started to work as a sitter. Right out of high school, I went full time nannying.

Being able to love, care, teach, and nurture a child as if they are my own. By doing this, it is establishing trust and comfort by building healthy and potentially long term connections with the whole family. I treat every family I work with as a real investment of my time and energy, and I really hope they feel that same connection.

was recently. In Feb of 2023, a family and their kids both under the age of 5 surprised me and invited me to go with them to San Diego. That trip the kids would storm into my room to sleep with me instead of their parents.
