A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Steph. I’m 33 and went to UGA for my bachelors in social work. I’ve been a full-time, career nanny for the last 6 years. The youngest child I’ve cared for was 1 week old and the eldest is 13. I moved back to CA 4 years ago and have had 3 full time families and numerous part time. At the moment, the toddler I’ve been with the last 2.5 years will be attending preschool in the fall so my search for a new home begins!
I have my own car and a clean driving record, so being punctual and running errands is not a problem.
I am very empathetic, nurturing, patient and outgoing. I love creating engaging activities that babies and children will benefit from. I’m a firm believer in child rearing that consists of autonomy, independence, creative freedom, engagement, mental/emotional stimulation, open communication, consistency and open mindedness. Babysitting and nannying is something I truly enjoy doing because everyday is different and presents new challenges as well as triumphs.
