I've been watching many age groups of children for 10 years and I love them dearly. I will provide a loving, patient, interactive, understanding, and safe environment for your child. I have watched children in nursery and child care at church for many years. I was a children's church teacher 6 years. I've nannied children from church, my cousins, and many other opportunities.

I love doing crafts, chalk, going for walks, singing and being silly, imaginative play, and just having fun and learning with the children I watch!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part is the love you have for the child and communication. If you don't love and want to treat the children as your own, then a nanny position wouldn't be the best that it could be. Love and understanding and kindness are all important rolls in caring for children. You go into a job looking to do your best and love through it all. Communication is important when working out problems and speaking with the parents. Openness and honesty are important in providing a loving environment so that you can have a good relationship with the parents. It is vital that you go into it with love. It is not just a job, it's a family partnership and an opportunity to help a child grow with love and creativity.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment is when kids learn something new or learn a new skill. They light up and are so proud of themselves. It's so beautiful. As adults, we know a lot of things and usually don't get that excited over new things. Children enjoy every little thing and glow when things make sense. They love living and learning. They love the excitement of all the things the world has to offer.
