A little bit about me

Hello! I'm Susan Severino and I am an energetic, passionate, certified school counselor who graduated from Rutgers GSE in 2021. I began working with babies and kids at a YMCA daycare in 2017 and have had nothing but wonderful, enriching experiences in the field since then.

My experience in school counseling such as providing counseling, doing fun Social Emotional Learning lessons, and facilitating conflict resolution has equipped me to not just a be babysitter but a very knowledgable, well-rounded caregiver.

Working with parents in my field has also been just as rewarding! I have heavily collaborated with parents because I believe all-around support is crucial for growth.

I am eager to continue to put forth my wealth of knowledge and passion into being of service to kids into this next chapter. I am confident that I can help support a family’s goal in cultivating a warm, positive, environment where kids can thrive.
