Activities I typically do with the children and babysit depend on what the parent is comfortable with, or activities that the parent typically does with the child. I will do any activity you or your child would like to do. For example, if there is a backyard, taking the child in the backyard and spending some time outside, or some indoor activities such as drawing, writing, or simply just playing with toys.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a babysitter to me is becoming like part of the family. What this means to me is being able to take the load off the parent and help out around the house as if it was my own. I love helping people and love seeing the help I give to other people positively affect them, and babysitting gives me the opportunity to do so.
My experience with special needs children...
I currently do not have any experience with babysitting special needs children, but that does not mean I am not willing to learn from parents of special needs children in order to accompany the child’s needs. I have had prior experience with family friends special needs children, but have never solely taken care of a special-needs child.
