A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Sydney and I am a freshman this year at NYU. I am studying psychology and neuroscience in hopes of going pre-med and ultimately becoming a child psychiatrist.

As of today, our finals have been moved to online so I will be traveling back home to Santa Fe within the next couple of days. As of now, I am scheduled to return to New York on January 26 but due to the recent spike of cases, I am skeptical of this being the case. For the time that I am home, I would love to work full time as a nanny in hopes of continuing with them during the summer.

I have never officially worked as a nanny but I was a counselor at Hummingbird Music Camp, in charge of 10-30 campers ages 8-14.

In high school, I worked 25-30 hours a week at SantaCafe as a hostess and back waiter. At the same time, I was in National Honor Society, Model United Nations, Speech and Debate, and playing violin. I was the concert master to my school's orchestra for three years and participated in the local orchestra and state orchestra. I graduated in May of 2021 in the top 3% of my class.

As for employment, I worked at SantaCafe from June of 2020 until I left for NYU.
