Hello all my name is Sydney, I am 20 years old and originally from Nashville, TN. I’d like to say I’m young but mature for my age. I’ve had experience working with kids ever since I was blessed with 2 nieces 2 years ago. Now I have 2 new nephews born a month apart! I have had jobs babysitting as well as being a preschool teacher at a daycare. I keep good timing in my class, with engaging activities for daily interaction, & have received my credentials/ certificates for TN and am currently working on becoming CPR certified. Currently I was as a Caregiver for the elderly. While I love helping my senior patients I do miss having fun & teaching little people! So I’ve decided to start nannying.

Checking in with the family and making sure there is a precise way of how the kids are cared for. Just because the nanny might have a good way of doing things but the parents might have a better way/ ways that work best for the family.

My experience with special needs children...

I have little experience but have had enough dealings to know it takes patience and sometimes more redirection with yourself than trying to redirect a special needs child sometimes.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was working with my class on writing the first letter of their name. And I had one little girl that could write the entire alphabet once I taught her how!
