I have 4 years of babysitting experience from when I lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I began during high school and continued through my first two years of college. It was a wonderful chapter of my life, and I had the opportunity to care for children within the neighborhood I grew up in.

Some of my favorite activities with children include playing board games, going on walks, taking them to the park, watching a good movie with movie snacks, drawing and painting and baking sweet treats together.

The most important aspect of being a nanny to me is building a personal connection with the child or children and learning how to care for them in the most nurturing, respectful, and endearing way. I strive to be someone they feel comfortable talking to and can trust completely. The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was taking the kids bowling, followed by ice cream afterward. We came home, I cooked dinner, and we settled in to watch a fun TV series. Afterward, they helped me make cookies, and we spent the rest of the evening chatting and enjoying each other's company until it was time for bed.
