A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Sylvia, and I recently graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Elementary Education. I have experience working with children of many different ages through student teaching, summer camps, classroom placements, and babysitting. I love creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and excited to learn and play.

I am patient, responsible, and creative, and I enjoy planning activities like crafts, games, outdoor play, reading, and imaginative activities that keep kids entertained while helping them grow. My background in education has also helped me build strong communication and behavior-management skills, as well as the ability to support children with different learning and emotional needs.

I truly enjoy building positive relationships with both children and parents, and I look forward to helping create a happy and safe experience for your family!

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Mt. Lebanon, PA: Esther W.

I've been a camp consoler and have cared for children K-9 throughout the years. I understand how important it is to not just care for them, but keep them active and outside having fun. Cooking and cleaning is something I regularly do. During my time at summer camp, I was hired as a part-time chef in addition to teaching outdoor living skills, yoga, and mountainboarding. Right now I'm currently in school with a main focus in Psychology.
