More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a teacher’s assistant for a toddler Musikgarten class in 2019 for a semester. I nannied short term in 2022 for a 1yo boy and also grew up babysitting my nieces and nephew (now ages 10, 11, and 16).

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Activities I enjoy with children are going to the park, swimming, special excursions like the zoo or children’s museums, music learning activities, art projects, occasional tv/movie-watching, or sometimes just plain tag/hide-and-seek/playing catch!

My experience with special needs children...

When I was in grade school, one of my favorite activities was being a part of the best buddies program, where we were paired up with another special needs student! My Aunt is also special needs (adult) and I grew up spending a lot of time with her and going to events at Misericordia (a Chicago live-in community that provides care and opportunities for persons with mild to severe developmental disabilities).
