Hello! I'm a recent college grad who just moved to Texas. I have experience babysitting children in my hometown neighborhood all throughout high school.

I studied Child Advocacy and social work as an undergrad. So, I have a lot of education in children's social, emotional, and physical development. I also have both academic and personal experience with neurodivergent children (ADHD and the Autism spectrum).

I would love to be a nanny for your child and/or children! I am willing to do light cooking and cleaning for the children or help with any other household chores you need.

I have volunteered and spent some time with children on the spectrum. I am also educated on the different accommodations neurodivergent children need and how to apply them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was actually something really simple. One afternoon the child I was caring for was having a rough day and was really frustrated about something that happened at school. Instead of trying to fix it right away, we sat on the couch together and I just listened while they talked about it.

After a while we decided to go on a little walk and get ice cream. By the time we got back they were laughing again and telling me about random things they wanted to do when they grow up. Later that night when I was leaving, they ran up and hugged me and said, “I feel better when you’re here.”

It was one of those small moments that reminded me how important it is for kids to feel safe and understood. Being able to be someone they trust and can talk to is honestly one of the most rewarding parts of being a nanny for me.
