A child I was watching was starting out her "terrible 2's" and he had developed a habit of throwing food. Instead of getting upset or frustrated, I made it into a game. I took tape and made squares on the ground handed her a broom and asked how fast she could get all the pasta into the squares, then into the dust pan. She enjoyed it so much that she would help me with my cleaning throughout the day.
