I love reading books. Playing with toys. Arts and crafts are my absolute favorite things to do. I always tell children they are the masters of their own creation.

I feel the most important part is just being an extended part of the family. I want the kids I take care of like if I'm just part of the family and I'm just there to help mommy and daddy out. I also feel like its important to treat the kids as if their your kids. I want the parents to feel safe that their leaving their child in my hands and I want the kids to feel safe as if I'm family.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My most favorite and memorable moment was when I asked my Zacky what he wanted for Christmas and he asked me for a barbie doll. As I didn't know how the parents would feel about this I asked their permission first. They said if that's what he wanted and I was willing to pay out of pocket for it they didn't care. When Christmas came around and he saw I bought his sister a monster high doll he was sad. Then I gave him his present and it was a monster high barbie. The light and joy on his face will forever be engraved in my mind and in my heart. This was one of the most spectacular moments of my life to see that I brought this boy so much happiness with such a little gesture.
