My name is Talía Wilkins
I graduated from west Springfield High school. I’m currently enrolled in North Virginia community college for the fall of 2025, my major is social work/ sociology I love taking walks and exploring nature/being outside! not so much technologically oriented,5+ years of experience with, preemie infants, infants, toddlers and grade school/preschool students.
Im First Aid certified, CPR certified and have my CDA in childcare

I also strive for a fun/creative environment when learning. Great with problem solving/guiding in calm ways, for a toddler or child would understand.
I’m able to work with kids that have disabilities/ learning disabilities.
Cooking and cleaning-able clean after the kids, such as kids laundry, cleaning dishes and making sure things are tidy.
I also can cook meals when needed such as, preparing snacks/lunches and bottle making/prepping. I have 6+ years of cooking experience and can accommodate with all food allergies!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some activities I enjoy with the kids are going to Aquariums, zoos, museums, interactive/ learning games, arts and crafts. I also really enjoy going outside on nature walks!

Last summer the kids had an idea to throw me a surprise go away party, since it was time for the kids to go back to school,
the parents thought it would be a good idea as well and it was really heartwarming.
Also when I taught an infant how to crawl and walk. I’ve had been caring for the infant since she was 2 months old .
