More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have done volunteer work at CCBC where I help children reach either their grade level or above grade level in reading. So far I helped two children named Nyala and Colin reach one grade above their grade level last semester.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like to take them to the park, get ice cream, help me cook, play games, do homework if needed, and help with chores. I just enjoy children in general because they are filled wit joy and laughter that I just love about them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny is the best approach for me because it helps me become ready for when I have a family of my own. This also allows me to teach the little ones that family is important and come first. I want the kids to be able to have fun but also learn at the same time.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for children that were blind and autism. I have cared for children named Anayah for two years who has autism and Terrell for 5 years who is blind.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment of being a nanny was when Anayah's father told me that ever since I first took care of her that he could that she began to open up and began to feel comfortable aroun d people. Also, that Anayah has progressed in reading and math

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Baltimore, MD: Thomasina C.
Hello, I'm Thomasina but you can call me Sina. I've been in childcare for over 15 years. I have work in large centers, like John Hopkins Martin Luther King Jr early learning center where I worked from infant thru 2 years old. Family centers with infant to school age. To smaller learning daycare where I am usually the infant room teacher. I am a High school graduate with my 90 hrs in early childhood learning and development. I have 4 beautiful children a 21 year old daughter that attends Towson University, one teenage Son attending Mervo this school year. Two younger children 11 girl and 9 boy. I have took a few year off from child care to experience new things but found myself back with my passion. I love being apart of those first stages of a child's development. The experiences I've had with children and their families have been just as a great impact on me as it was for them. I do light housework, and will help with children laundry. Reach out if you think we would be a good match
