While I don’t have direct experience with special needs children, I have cared for special needs adults and developed important caregiving skills. My responsibilities included preparing meals, assisting with bathroom needs, changing diapers, and providing daily support with patience and compassion. I believe these experiences have prepared me well to care for individuals with varying needs, including children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when I helped my younger cousin, who was shy and hesitant around other kids, build the confidence to make a new friend at the playground. We had been working on social skills through play at home, and seeing her proudly introduce herself and start playing with another child on her own was such a rewarding moment. It reminded me how small, consistent efforts can lead to big personal growth in children.
