The most important part about being a nanny...
Being fun and attentive to what the kids need and say. Meeting them on their level whether that be when they are happy, sad, mad or afraid. I listen and help them be heard and to feel safe. The responsibility being a nanny is huge. I never take it lightly and I do everything in power to make sure all kids in my care are well looked after and safe. To be in contact with the parents about their kids and having open communication about their children is vital.

When I teach kids about th empower of tress and how much energy they give us. They think it is strange to hug the trees but after awhile they are ones picking out the ones to hug.. It is so cute to watch them hug the tress. Also, in the car when we play guess "what food is the healthiest". I give them multiple choice answers. And they each have to guess. They love it. It is always my go to in the car. And it is not just limited to food either.
