The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny for me is that I get to create a safe environment for kids when they miss the ones who make them the most comfortable. I pride myself in being able to make kids feel comfortable and safe. My goal is to make the transition from having mom and dad around, to not having them around, a little easier.
My experience with special needs children...
I was a school bus driver for the deaf and blind school. I also drove kids with behavioral problems that attended the mainstream schooling system. I was then a school bus aide, where I interacted and handled kids with all kinds of special needs in order to maintain order on the bus as well as a fun atmosphere.
