I love engaging children in fun, hands-on activities that spark their creativity and help them learn through play. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, storytime, outdoor play, dancing, nature walks, music and movement, sensory play, and simple cooking or snack-making activities. I enjoy watching their imaginations grow and encouraging them to explore the world around them in a safe, supportive, and joyful environment.

The most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting, loving bond with each child and their family. It’s about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel supported, seen, and encouraged to be themselves. I believe in being a positive role model, providing consistency and compassion, and helping each child grow with confidence at their own pace. Being a nanny means showing up every day with patience, care, and a genuine love for what I do.

My experience with special needs children...

I have hands-on experience working with children who have special needs, particularly those with Down syndrome and autism. At my previous daycare position, I cared for a child with Down syndrome and supported their developmental progress by working on building physical strength, encouraging mobility, and fostering growth in other key areas.

In addition to my professional experience, I have a strong personal connection to children with autism. I have four cousins who are autistic, and I’ve personally cared for three of them since childhood. This has given me a deep understanding of the patience, creativity, and consistency needed to support children on the spectrum.
