Welcome! I'm a 19 yr old freshman in college and CPR certified. My experience comes from caring for my younger siblings, who are now 9-13 and have had past families to babysit. When it came to childcare, I always had a warm friendly approach since I became involved. I started to enjoy it when I loved teasing little kids to tutoring. I'm comfortable watching multiple kids and love keeping them entertained with fun activities like crafts, outdoor games, and technology based apps. I don't mind light housework or changing diapers as needed. I'm also open to preparing meals since I grew up helping my mom cook asian dishes and fed them to my younger siblings. When it comes to discipline, I'm comfortable reassuring them of safety and household rules. I believe patience and communication is key. I am CPR certified but I will need to get my CPR certification renewed shortly> I also know some basic American sign language. Not enough for a full conversation but enough to communicate certain needs if any child is nonverbal or has a disability. I am willing to work with little ones of all ages and differences. Like I said I have a big family and almost all of us have our own struggles and challenges, so I am patient and kind even when things get rough. I have my own vehicle and drivers license and am willing to travel anywhere in the Fort Wayne area. I've never done babysitting for pay but I have taken care of a large number of family members growing including my siblings and others. Not asking for a 40 hour work week but even 24 hours at least a week with a pay of $12.50-$15 requested is all.
