A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Taran. I started babysitting at a young age and it has turned into so much more! Some of my childcare experience.
I was a full-time nanny for a family with 2 little ones March-July 2012. In 2012-Dec 2021 I ran and owned my own in home daycare. I loved caring for 12 children age birth to school age. In Dec 2021 I made the difficult decision to close my daycare and move to be with my now husband. In Dec 2021-Until March of this year I worked as a lead teacher in a classroom at a center. This was a great experience!
My current nanny family is moving out of state. I am now looking to start with a new family the beginning of January 2024.
I would also, be avaliable for occasional date nights.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing many activities with kids. I aways try to keep the kids I care for busy with activities that help promote learning and creativity that are age appropriate. Including but, not limited to:
-arts and crafts
-swimming
-walks
-playing at the park
-reading and visits to the library
-music time/dancing

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel that being a nanny is so much more than just caring for a child/children. It is building strong relationships with the whole family. I truely enjoy getting to know the family I'm working for on a personal level as well as just professional.
