Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Volunteer for my church in the children's ministry, aged infant-ten years old, since age 12, and baby-sitting experience for about 4 years. I previously nannied for a family with a 14 month old, and I was with them for 4 months! I just concluded a job that I was at for a bit over a year with a 3.5 year old and a almost 2 year old :)
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to play sports, go on walks, go to the park, go to a water park on a hot day, play with toys such as legos, and things that require more cognitive functioning, rather than just an iPad, or watching a movie. I still like watching fun movies and shows with kids! I also love to bake, and allow kids to use their brains to always be making a fun new creation.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part to being a nanny to me is finding ways to keep the kids intrigued in what we are doing, and find ways to challenge their brains, especially in the summer while they are not in school, while still having fun! I love to play around with the kids and create a very loving environment where I can foster a deep connection with them, rather than just coming over, and then leaving.

I have no experience in looking after special needs children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was with the boys I just nannied for. I truly felt like I was a part of their family. The three year old and I had the most special relationship and he always loved when I read books to him. The bond I had with them just made me so excited to go to work everyday.
