I have authority but I don’t reprimand kids, I make sure they are following the rules they’re accustomed to at home. I also took ECE (early childhood development) with SMC for 2 semesters we learned a lot about how kids function at different stages in their life which benefits me as a sitter because it allows me to understand their needs.
