More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes working in a daycare setting, providing consistent supervision, engaging children in age-appropriate activities, and supporting daily routines such as meals, naps, and playtime. I have extensive experience babysitting and nannying for families with children of varying ages, where I assisted with homework, transportation, household routines, and emotional support. Additionally, my academic background in Youth Advocacy and Child Development has strengthened my understanding of children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs, allowing me to provide care that is both nurturing and intentional. I am comfortable working with children of diverse backgrounds and needs and always prioritize safety, communication, and positive relationship-building with both children and parents.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I enjoy doing with children include spending time outdoors, going on adventures, and helping them explore the world around them through real-life learning experiences. I love encouraging curiosity and creativity by turning everyday moments into opportunities for growth and discovery. I also enjoy engaging children in activities that support developmental milestones, such as hands-on learning, problem-solving, and social-emotional skill building. Arts and crafts, imaginative play, reading together, and interactive games are some of my favorite ways to help children express themselves and build confidence. I believe play is one of the most important ways children learn, and I strive to create experiences that are both fun and meaningful while supporting each child’s individual development.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny to me is getting to be a part of a child’s growth and journey as they grow into confident, kind, and strong individuals. Watching children learn new skills, build confidence, and discover who they are is incredibly rewarding and something I truly love. I care deeply about creating a safe, trusting bond where children feel comfortable being themselves and know they always have someone who supports them. I also value building a close, positive relationship with the family, based on trust and communication, so we can work together to give the children the best care and support possible.
