Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a certified CNA, i have cpr and first aid training. I volunteer at a special needs group as a youth counselor. I have gone on a humanitarian trip working mainly with kids in both Thailand and Guatemala. I have babysat and nannied for most of my life.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy everything! I love being able to make priceless memories with kids! Seeing the smiles on their faces when doing anything they love is something that I look forward to!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think it is super important to build trust with not only the kids, but the parents. As a nanny, you want the kids to feel safe and comfortable around you. If they see you as someone they can trust, like a friend, the trust builds immensely and you form a very important bond with them.

My experience with special needs children...

I nannied for a family with a newborn baby girl, a 1 year old little girl with sever down syndrome, and a 2 year old little boy with autism. I absolutely adored them and joined a special needs group as a counselor because of the love i had for their family.
