More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have experience with special needs children, sick children, and multiples! I’m also certified as a nursing assistant.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love making arts and crafts with the kids! They always have a great time. I also enjoy getting the kids some outdoors time, reading books, creative play (obstacle courses, creating games, building forts, etc..), having dance parties, and much more!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny is more than just a job to me. When I work with a family, I treat their children like my own. As a full time nanny, I am with these kids almost everyday. Not only is it my job to keep them safe, but to help them grow as a person to be the absolute best they can be. I always get really close with the families I nanny for because as I mentioned it is more than a job to me and these children become family to me. If I’m at the store and I know one of kiddos needs something whether it’s clothing, more diapers, crafts supplies, whatever the case may be, Im grabbing it while I’m at the store no thought about it. What makes me stand out as a candidate is how genuine and loving I am. To answer the question, the most important part about being a nanny to me is becoming a part of the family.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for children with ADHD, ODD, and autism.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite (but also the saddest) Nanny moments I’ve had is when the children of the families I nannied for cried when it was time for me to leave, or on my last day :( This is definitely the hardest part for me as well, but it just touches my heart to know what an impact I’ve made on these kids and that they love me almost as much as i love them.
