I have worked in childcare in some way, shape, or form since I was 12 years old. I have experience with all ages. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have also worked as a para in a special education classroom. My college major was special education with an autism emphasis. I have also most recently worked in an assisted living facility that specializes in dementia and Alzheimer’s. Between my work as a para and at the assisted living facility, I have experience assisting with showering, bathrooming, and lifting. I have always done light housekeeping at the homes I watch children in. Especially the messes we make. Folding clothes and doing dishes are my two favorite household chores. I have experience housesitting and caring for dogs and cats as well.
