My name is Taylor and I am a recent graduate from MJC. Childcare has recently become the focal point of my career though I’ve had a passion for nannying and babysitting for as long as I can remember. I am extremely creative and love to teach and learn new things everyday! I have my own car to ensure I never arrive late or miss an opportunity to help out. With 5 years of driving experience and no incidental records, I will be a safe mode of transportation in cases of emergency or when needed and instructed to travel. I am able to follow any allergy precautions with my experience working in food prep and will always offer safe and nutritious meals when needed. I love getting to know the child’s interests and finding new ways to incorporate their favorite things into snacks, projects, activities, or imaginative play. I have been babysitting since I was in middle school and have since moved on to longer projects such as nannying for a family for 3.5 years. I am now acquiring my final ECE credits to begin my first year as a preschool teacher in the [phone number hidden] school year.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to read books with my kids, especially ones that they are specifically interested so we can build off of what we have learned and try incorporating themes into new ways of play. I enjoy going on walks and bike rides or even setting up a picnic with our favorite snacks and toys. I am very creative and love introducing the kiddos to various art projects.

One of my kids had been struggling with recognizing letters and numbers when we began learning to read at age 4. She is now going into third grade this upcoming school year and is multiple grades above in her reading levels. It is astonishing how it seems how just yesterday we were trying all kinds of methods to help her learn her letters and now she’s an exceptional reader who loves it too!
