A little bit about me

I began my childcare career as a babysitter for family & family friends as many teenagers do, then I began full time/professionally nannying 3 years ago. In my professional experience, I have cared for children between the ages of 10 months to 6 years, though my personal experience extends the range from newborn to 11 years old. I have experience with nonverbal children on the Autism Spectrum and am familiar with ABA therapy. I take the children I care for to all kinds of doctors, dentists, and speech therapy appointments as well as to/from school & extracurricular activities. I love to take the kiddos out of the house to engage in age appropriate experiences at places like local parks, play gyms, aquariums or whatever your particular child may enjoy! I also offer assistance with every day duties such as light housekeeping, running errands, transportation, laundry, etc. I'm reliable, flexible, and adaptable. I'm a nanny with 3 years of experience working with children of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. My preferred method of care is aligned with what would be considered gentle parenting. My number one goal, other than health and safety, is to bond with your child and be a safe space for them while guiding them through their development of confidence, independence, and emotional regulation. I have almost 2 years of experience with a nonverbal child on the autism spectrum. I have participated in ABA therapy sessions, taken the child to specialized therapists and doctors appointments, regularly administered medication, used an AAC device and simple ASL as well as learned how to interpret body language in order to communicate.
