I’ve spent over four years working in the childcare department at the YMCA, taking care of kids of all ages. While working on my Early Childhood Development degree, I also nannied for multiple families, one of them being for 4 years, helping with everything from daily routines to fun activities. Right now, I’m working at a private school, assisting students with different needs, which has given me even more experience working with kids in different settings.

My experience with special needs children...
I was a nanny for a 7 year old who suffered from seizures. I worked at a Physical Therapy Clinic as an Aide with children who had various types of special needs. During the school year, I work one on one with students assisting them in various needs to their education.
The most important part about being a nanny...
There’s too many to count! My favorite moments as a nanny would be helping them reach new milestones like first steps, riding a bike without training wheels or seeing them swim without water wings for the first time! I feel lucky to have been able to share big moments of success with so many awesome kids! I also love getting back from vacations or breaks and being greeted with big smiles and hugs, it's the best!
