In high school, I was a student teacher for 2 years from grades kindergarten- eighth grade :)) I did everything from creating lesson plans, to even playing with the kids at recess!
My experience with special needs children...
Although I have no experience with special needs children, My teacher always encouraged and pushed me to be apart of a special needs class. Sadly, there was never an opening for one of those classes while I was student teaching, she still told me I should keep it into consideration once I become a real teacher. Ever since then, i’ve really thought on it, and believe that is something I would love to specialize in later on in my career!

I live on a family ranch so horses and cattle are our family love. If you need overnight care that is possible though of course a teacher likes to be early so I'd need to be able to leave by 6am on weekdays. What ever rules you have I follow, routines are pretty important to Autistic kiddos. Fun times can be had and dogs and cats are great pets to have-they too can be put in the schedule if you want.
