A little bit about me

Hello,

My name is Tegan! My previous experience includes working in childcare and costumer service. Most recently I have worked as a preschool teacher. My duties included, but were not limited to; caring for up to 12 children at one time, creating and conducting lesson plans based on a set curriculum, and undergoing evaluations of myself and children to ensure they were on track to succeed in kindergarten.

Prior to that I worked as a nanny for several different familes. One of which included a foster home where my duties included not only caring for children, but also meeting with social workers and physical therapists to ensure children were in good health and getting the proper care that they required.

In addition to this experience I gained a profound sense of compassion. My previous experience outside of childcare and teaching has helped me develop other skills, but I find working with children to be the most rewarding experience of all!
