Hey!! I’m Te’Niah . I am a teenager, so I understand that comes with concerns. I want to reassure you that under my care your child is in safe hands. I have 4+ years of experience in cooking and cleaning for kids. I understand what they like to watch and what activities they’d like as well. I’m patient and understanding and also a good conversationalist! I don’t own my own vehicle, therefore I will be given rides (by my parents) so that means I can’t run errands. Other than that I am reliable and dependable. I prefer younger kids and no more than 2-3 kids. Any other amount can be arranged or discussed. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Dealing w infants : Infants (4mos-7mos) were under my care. I changed diapers , made sure creams were applied when necessary. Cleaned bottles , and filled them with milk & cereal ( to fill him up a little bit ) . And rocked him to sleep. I also gave him a bath when he woke and had his clothes and new pamper on for when his parent arrived. ( in the morning)

Dealing w toddlers : (3yr-6yr) after “ play time” was over , I had a meal ready (parents left certain snacks they could eat along with microwaveable food) . Children were then giving a bath, and layer down for bed time. I let them watch cartoons until they fell asleep. Turned the TVs off & made sure they’re room was clean. Cleaned the kitchen, living room , put toys in place , took out trash (etc) .

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love arts and crafts . As I grew older my imagination grew out of me. I’m very realistic now. Children always have such a creative mind and spirit! I love to see what they come up with .

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure the child is being watched 👏🏾 . I am a firm believer in treating your child like my very own, or a younger sibling. I want to leave your home with children asking you can I come back !! I’m very responsible and mature for my age and I assure every child under my care will be handled according to set rules and understandings.

My experience with special needs children...

I have not . But I am good with instructions and will not turn anyone down because of a disability.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I took one of the babies I cared for on a stroll . With his younger sister. It was really special because his younger sister was so excited to go on the short walk around the neighborhood. She thanked me repeatedly and it brought joy to my heart . It cost me $0 to go on that walk . And her smile and laughter made it feel like a million .
