More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve cared for children in both family and community settings. As an aunt, I’ve looked after my nieces and nephews regularly—helping with meals, homework, bath time, and creating fun, screen-free activities. I’ve also helped at church events where I volunteered with children’s ministries, assisting with crafts, group games, and snack time. I’m comfortable caring for kids of various ages and creating a safe, nurturing space for them to feel loved and supported.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing hands-on activities like arts and crafts, storytelling, and baking simple treats together. I also enjoy outdoor play—like going for walks, playing tag, or doing obstacle courses. For quiet time, I like reading books aloud, doing puzzles, or helping with schoolwork in fun, creative ways. I try to make every moment engaging and full of joy while still keeping things safe and structured.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part about being a nanny is making a child feel safe, loved, and understood. It’s not just about watching over them—it’s about being present, patient, and creating a space where they can grow, express themselves, and feel valued. Children remember how you made them feel, and I believe it’s a huge honor to be trusted with that role. Being a nanny means showing up with love, consistency, and care every single day.
My experience with special needs children...
I was still quite young when I first helped care for a child with special needs, but it was a meaningful experience that taught me a lot. I wasn’t alone—my mum, who used to be a caregiver, guided me through it and made sure I was doing everything safely and with love. I learned the importance of patience, routine, and making sure the child felt heard and supported. Even at that age, I knew how important it was to be kind, gentle, and understanding.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was when I was watching my niece, and we spent the afternoon making “potions” out of safe kitchen ingredients like flour, food coloring, and water. She called it our “science lab,” and we laughed so much while learning about textures and colors. Later, she told me it was the best day ever. Moments like that remind me how meaningful it is to create fun memories that also encourage learning and imagination. It made me realize just how much I love being part of a child’s growth and happiness.

I am a mother of 5 children who are all grown adults now. I have 12 grandchildren and the last grandchild has autism who I keep every Tuesday and take to speak therapy for his autism. I am a great parent and love Children. I am very proud of all of my children and grandchildren. I had a car accident in1997 and I can’t bend down on my knees. Can’t carry over 20lb weight because of my knee. But I can work with my hands and I do drive. Can’t climb Stairs fast. Love to go to Church, ball game and watch movies, Sports. I am willing to work with whoever is willing to give me a chance to work with them. Don’t have any kind of degree in Child Care I was thought that as a parent would come naturally as long as you love, correct them when they are young and mature into adulthood.
