Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been both a nanny and an ECE teacher. I loved both environments, and loved taking the time to develop loving, caring relationships. As a nanny, I find a routine that works with that child’s wants/needs, and fill the day with lots of activities. At the daycare, I had a class of 12 (with another teacher) and created several activities per day, and communicated clearly with other teachers, as well as parents.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spending time outside with the kids! Natures walk, chalk, trips to the playground, etc. I often take stories and sensory bins on walks and enjoy them in the fresh air. I love doing crafts, baking, and fostering creativity!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have a million! But the day my first nanny baby said my name for the first time, my heart exploded. Truly, I have a new favorite moment everyday. Listening to my sweet kids giggle, watching them learn, seeing the connections they make in their little brains, it’s the most important thing I’ll ever do. Children are capable of so much, I love being there to help guide them along the way.
