My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for a special needs 1 year old at my prior daycare/teaching position and there was a specific schedule that he had to attend so that he could be calm and happy. I also had a 8 year old special needs kid who needs medication everyday at 1pm so that he won't throw major tantrums and it helps control his emotions
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment with the kids at my daycare was when it was water day and we all just played around splashing in the water.
