Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked for centers like Bright Horizons and Family Star Montessori as well as providing private child care with a combined experience of over 10 years. I am CPR and First Aid certified and keep up with all required trainings. I am also a fully licensed Behavioral Therapist. I am very familiar with infant development and have mainly focused on infant, toddlers and primary aged child care. I have experience as an ESL as I taught English in Ecuador for 5 years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really enjoy helping a child develop and helping the family with developing a safe schedule. I enjoy singing and reading books. Taking walks and helping children explore their environment is something I really like doing. Park and playground visits as well as library story times are a few of my favorites. Because I have classroom experience with little ones I have plenty of indoor activities to explore.
