A little bit about me

My background includes caring for children within my family since the age of thirteen. I cared for my sister from the age of two days while our mother was working part-time.
In addition to that, I have been caring for children professionally since August of 2020. Beginning as a floater, and occasionally working as the cook for the children while the hired cook was out, I was soon promoted to Lead Infant Teacher. Since moving to Austin, I have worked at a Montessori private school as an Assistant and Lead Nido Guide. This is an area where I have been able to enhance my skills and grow as a professional.
Despite the majority of my experience being with ages one (1) and under, I have worked in every classroom, with children up to age six (6).
My skills include CPR/First Aid, early childhood education, patience and the ability to work well under pressure at a reliable work pace.
