Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’m addition to nannying and babysitting I have worked as a teacher in several daycare centers. I’ve worked in at home daycares with children ranging in ages of 1-3 years. At The Goddard School I worked with toddlers ( ages 1.5-2). At Bright Horizons I have worked in the infant room as well as the mixed toddler room(12mos-24mos).

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am a big art person, so I’m quick to get out the paint to make abstract art paintings. For infants, music, reading books, sensory play, and walks to the park are exciting. Toddlers are up in age so different age appropriate obstacle courses, painting and puzzles, reading books and singing, coloring and other sensory activities as well

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a nanny is like being a second hand parent. Giving that unconditional love like a parent. Encouraging children to be the best they can be. Working towards milestones and growing up with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was a nanny for a little boy who was 16 months when I started. He was having some speech development issues, but with lots of one on one and encouragement he said his first actual word “crackers” when we were making snack. It brought so much joy to my heart to know I was actually making an impact on him.
